Bass, Vaughan Alden
(USA); aka Alden, Vaughan
   Painter and illustrator who was based in Chicago. Began as pinup artist working for Louis F. Dow Co. in the 1930s. Later known for doing sports paintings. Noted for producing one of the most famous pinups of World War II, called "Keep 'em flying."
